Budding Artist

Aidan had a great time drawing at Nana's house with the crayons she got him for Halloween. He colors with his right and left hands (mostly with his left) and is very focused when he colors. He is also practicing his colors. He likes to say that everything is yellow, so we are really working on them. Ha!

Nana and I had fun drawing pictures and asking Aidan what they were. He would casually look up from drawing and say, "tree" or "pumpkin" like come on guys, don't you have something harder to quiz me on? And then Papa came along and started drawing airplanes and tanks. Who knew Papa could draw so well?!?

Aidan's teacher, Ms. Lilly, gave me a packet of his latest artwork today. What a treasure they are to me. I love that his school does special art projects with him and that he enjoy them. His teacher said, "Aidan was the only one in the class that put all of his alphabet macaroni letters perfectly inside the circles." (see Basket Toss sock picture below) Not sure where he got the meticulous side of his art talent...hee hee...His Type-A mommy couldn't be more proud of him!!!
