"Run Daddy, Run!"

This morning Mike put together our new jogging stroller that Meme and Granddaddy gave us for Easter. He can't run with Aidan in it until he's 6 months old, but we thought we would test it out on this beautiful day and take a walk. Aidan loves being outside! I know that Mike is looking forward to taking our little man for a run when he gets a little bit older.

Aidan has been really kicking his feet with excitement lately, so we decided to put together his Rainforest Jumperoo and let him kick/jump away. Little did we know that his feet wouldn't touch the ground yet...but there's no stopping our little kicker! We put him in it this morning and he had a BLAST (feet dangling and all)!

30th Birthday Surprise!

My mom got me an early 30th birthday gift...tickets to see Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban in concert!!! Our seats were on the floor and Keith came and played a bunch of songs right in front of us! It was the BEST concert I've ever been to and my mom and I had a blast! Thanks for such a wonderful night mom and such great memories!

Jesus Loves Aidan!

Aidan was baptized this past Saturday at our church, St. Francis of Assisi. We had such a wonderful day with family and friends! The weather was absolutely beautiful and Aidan did a super job getting Holy water and oil poured on his head. He continues to be such a blessing to all of us and we take great joy in the fact that he is part of our Christian family. Mike and I look forward to the day he accepts Jesus as his Savior and begins his walk with Him. His special day will be one that we always remember.

Finger Lickin' Good!

Aidan has "found" his fingers and now has them in his mouth constantly! He's decided that he doesn't want to be your average thumb-sucker, but instead suck on two fingers at once (his middle and ring fingers on his right hand). It reminds my family of when I was little as I sucked on two fingers also...already following in his mom's footsteps! Mike claims that it's the beginning of the NC State Wolfpack sign...ah...wishful thinking daddy. At least now he can keep himself occupied when his pacifier falls out.

"Little Peanut"

Aidan went to the doctor for his 2 month check-up this week. He got 4 shots in his little legs! He now weighs 12 lbs. 10 oz. and is 23 in. long...it won't be long before he's not our little peanut anymore...so sad!
