Colors of Fall

After I got Aidan dressed today I figured that I must be trying to hurry fall along. It's my FAVORITE time of year and it's been WAY TOO HOT this summer! He decided to add the hat to his wardrobe today (he really does match his clothing well...). I grabbed my camera and had a quick photo shoot. I just love him in brown (his shorts were brown too- you just can't see them in the pictures)!

Dixie Kitty

Aidan loves our neighbor's cat, Dixie. He calls Dixie his friend. Today, he was chatting with his "friend" and kept saying, "Mommy, Dixie isn't listening. She needs to go to time out!" So he got really close to Dixie to tell her she needed to listen. Ha!

Friday Morning Mission: Fort Building

Aidan is getting ready to switch from his toddler bed to his new "big boy" bed...but before that big change happens, Aidan and I built his very own fort to play in this morning with his new sheets. He LOVED it as you can tell from his smile in the pictures.

Vroom, Vroom...Beep, Beep

"Move out of the way mister...I'm trying to get to Nana's!" Ha...this is what Aidan was saying as he "drove" in his car this afternoon. So funny!

Out of Town Visitors

Aidan got to meet Aunt Lynne and Uncle Jim today on their way back to Arizona. They got him the cutest presents...an awesome monkey book and these ADORABLE sock monkey slippers! It was instant obsession for Aidan. I'm SO glad they finally got to meet my little man.

Beach Countdown Chain...7 days!

Nana helped Aidan make a chain to count down the days until we leave for the beach. He was super excited about using the stapler ("clip-clip"). When he was finished he said the days until we leave.
Monday...Tuesday...Wednesday...Thursday...Friday...Saturday...and we leave on SUNDAY! We can't wait!!

Hold My Hand

Big Wheels Keep on Turning...

Aidan is usually scared of the riding lawnmower, but today he decided he wanted to ride with Papa! He LOVED it (I think by his smile that Papa enjoyed it too)!

Curious George

We went to see Curious George at the RBC Center today. Aidan loved it! I was so disappointed when they made me take my camera back to the car because it had a detachable lens...I mean do they not understand how much this mommy LOVES to take pictures?!? So...the first two pictures are from my phone and the last one is when we got back to the car with my real camera. See Mr. RBC Center security man...look at the difference in quality!

Snuggle Time!

Goodberry's

Goodberry's brings back so many memories...cruising with my high school girls on hot summer nights with the radio blasting, yummy Lime Ricky drinks with extra cherries...I could go on and on. I love making new memories with my little man.

Nana let Aidan help her make mashed potatoes...he did a great job!
