Easter Eggs

We headed over to Nana and Papa's house to dye Easter eggs tonight. Aidan was so excited and kept saying, "I just can't wait!" the whole way there. We had a great time making some new Easter memories tonight. I look at these pictures and just can't believe how big he is...slow down, little one! :)

Resurrection Eggs

Nana got Aidan Resurrection Eggs and told him the story about Jesus dying on the cross for us and how He rose on Easter as Aidan opened each egg. He loved them and really took to heart the story of Jesus on the cross. He was sad when he heard the part about the soldiers taking Jesus from praying and what they did to him...I love that he has a heart that is growing in the Lord! Aidan, may you continue to be in awe of God's love for you and how he hung on the cross for you. "It's empty, mommy! Jesus went to heaven to be with God!"
