Aidan had surgery today to get tubes put in his ears. He did GREAT! We were worried about him not being able to have his "Baba" this morning when he woke up, but he only asked for it a few times. We are so very thankful that he did well and for the nurses and doctors that helped him today. They made it a very enjoyable process and really catered to him as a little kid. They made "balloons" out of gloves, gave him crayons to draw on the bed (Macaroni Grille style), and even gave him stickers to decorate his mask. The surgery took 15 minutes and we were home an hour later. Aidan did throw up twice from the anesthesia (notice the 3 sets of monkey jammies in the pictures). Hopefully he will be feeling much better and we will not have anymore ear infections! The doctor did say that he would need his adnoids taken out when he was 3 or 4 and possibly tonsils...

So glad his ear surgery is behind him. Just the mention of his name is music to my EARS! Higs and kisses to our boy.
