We did not have a State football game last weekend, so we took full advantage of having the whole weekend to do lots of other things. On Saturday Aidan and I got together with my good friend, Angela, and her daughter, Georgia. They were in town visiting from Tennessee. I so wish we lived closer to them so that we could get together more often...2 hours every couple of months is such a short time to catch up on each other's lives. Then again, we have the kind of friendship where we just pick right back up where we left off as if we never skipped a beat.

On Sunday we headed to Kelly, Adam, and Chases' house for a cookout. Kelly's parents were in town visiting from Texas so they had us (and my mom and dad) over for some delicious, Texas-style ribs (courtesy of Kelly's dad). Chase is always so sweet with Aidan and gets out all his "baby" toys for the two of them to play with. As we were leaving he said to Aidan, "Give me a hug!" Just too cute!

In between all of the planned outings Aidan played with one of his favorite toys. Notice how our little man is standing on his own as he plays with it. He's just growing up so quickly!
